When travelling to Mumbai, many tourists consider staying in a beach hotel. The hotel’s location is right on the beach with lovely views of the Arabian Sea. This can be a great option for some people, but there are a few reasons why I believe you should choose a non-beach hotel instead.
Only a few of the beach hotels in Mumbai are actually on the beach. The rest are located in the suburbs, which can be a bit far from the city centre. This means you’ll have to rely on taxis or public transportation to get around, and it can be difficult to find a taxi when you need one.
The beach hotels are also often very expensive, especially during the high season. If you’re on a budget, you can find much better deals in the city centre.
Finally, the beach in Mumbai is not very clean. There is a lot of garbage on the shoreline, and the water is not very clear. This can be a bit of a disappointment if you were expecting to enjoy a relaxing beach vacation..
